Log in to your Showcase IDX account, which you can do from any of your search pages in the site. On the top right you'll find the link to login with your IDX credentials.
Perform the search that you want to save. It can be a neighborhood, zip code, MLS# and so on.
You can also use the polygon search.
Confirm that the results are accurate and are showing the listings; you can add more filters to customize your search.
Save the search by clicking "Save as Hostsheet" on the bottom left of the map search.
Name your Hotsheet and hit "Save"
You can directly go to you hotsheets list by clicking "View a list of your Hotsheets"
You can also access the list by clicking "Hotsheets" in the top bar menu.
That section will show your Custom Hotsheets (the ones created by you) and the Automated Hotsheets.
You should now see the hotsheet you created show in the left column.
Note: If you are creating a hotsheet for advertising purposes, you are all set. Please send the name of the hotsheet to our Marketing team.
Adding a Hotsheet to an Area Page
Now let's use this to define which listings show within our Area Content system. To do so, locate Area Content in the sidebar of your WordPress dashboard, and head over to the cities or neighborhoods.
Access the City / Neighborhood you want to configure or create a new one.
Once there, locate the Select the City or Select the Neighborhood module. Choose Custom IDX Hotsheet, and then simply enter the name of your hotsheet (including any dashes or special characters)
That's it! Make sure to preview your change and ensure the correct listings are showing. As always if you have any issues here, just open a ticket or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
